GIVING BACK TO THOSE WHO GIVE SO MUCH
MISSOURI STATE PIKE
FIREMAN'S CHALLENGE
The dedicated men of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Missouri State University are on a mission to host an event unlike any other. The annual Fireman's Challenge was established to promote awareness on the campus of Missouri State University and in the community of Springfield in fire prevention and education. With the help of the Springfield Fire Department, the event gives participants a chance to experience the demanding tasks a firefighter must go through on a routine basis. All proceeds benefit the Springfield Fire Department, as well as, other participating departments.

How Your Donation Helps
ALL donations go directly to participating fire departments. A majority of the donations will benefit the Springfield Fire Department's Prevention and Education Division, while another portion will be donated to the fire department who is selected by the grant committee for their training, prevention, and education division.
In 2016, we raised $3,000, with hopes of raising $10,000 in 2018! Departments use these funds to educate the public, install smoke alarms and provide training programs to their crews to better serve their communities.
